This Privacy Policy explains what information ϑbsidian ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ϑbsidian you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your email, username, and authentication details (passwords are stored only as salted hashes).
• Content: the conversations, prompts, and responses you create.
• Usage & technical data: IP address, user agent, and timestamps, used for security and troubleshooting.
• Preferences: such as your chosen theme.

2. How we use information

• to provide, secure, and operate the Service;
• to generate AI responses to your prompts;
• to authenticate you and prevent abuse;
• to improve reliability and features.

3. AI processing

To produce responses, your prompts and relevant conversation history are sent to our model provider (via OpenRouter). We only share what is needed to generate the Output.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run ϑbsidian (e.g. model inference and email delivery), or where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and conversations until you delete them or close your account. You can delete individual conversations at any time from the app.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords and token-based authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can update your username and theme, delete conversations, and request account deletion. For access or deletion requests, contact us.
